My Mission
Hi, I’m Ruby, the artist behind Soulful Arts! I create custom, hand-drawn portraits that capture the spirit and personality of your beloved pets. Despite having a degree in Biomedical Science I find art to be a lot more therapeutic, especially as I suffer mental health issues and difficulties. Every piece is made with care, using fine detail and a lot of heart — because I believe our furry (and not-so-furry) friends deserve to be remembered in a beautiful, timeless way.
My creative process is deeply rooted in capturing emotion and narrative, drawing inspiration from personal experiences and the world around me. I experiment with different mediums to express intricate details and bring stories to life, from fine art to glass paintings. Each piece is crafted with intention, ensuring that it resonates with the viewer on a personal level. I believe art should not only be visually captivating but also evoke a sense of connection and reflection.
